These terms are the agreement between you and Duelgap, an English learning game run by Tahir Enes Kahraman, an individual based in Türkiye ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Duelgap app or the websites duelgap.com and app.duelgap.com, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use Duelgap.
You must be at least 13 years old. If the law where you live requires a parent's permission for someone your age to use online services, you must have it. You must give accurate information and keep your sign-in details safe. You are responsible for what happens on your account.
Duelgap is for learning English in a friendly competition. Please do not:
Questions, explanations and translations are written to help you learn, but they can contain mistakes. They are not a substitute for a teacher or an official exam. If you find an error, please use the report button in the app.
Points, streaks, rankings, daily goals and unlocks are for fun and have no cash value. We may adjust, reset or remove them, for example to fix bugs, balance the game or deal with cheating.
Pro features are not for sale yet. Which features are free or Pro, and any future prices, can change. If we start selling Pro, we will show the price, billing and cancellation terms clearly before you pay, and those terms will apply in addition to these.
Other players can see your username, level, points and streak, and can invite you to games. You can remove friends and leave games at any time. Please do not share personal details in games.
The app, its design, characters, artwork, questions and other content belong to us or our licensors and are protected by law. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use Duelgap as intended. You keep ownership of anything you send us, such as reports, and you allow us to use it to run and improve the service.
You can stop using Duelgap and delete your account at any time in Settings → Account or by emailing us. We may warn, suspend or remove accounts that break these terms or harm other players or the service. We may also change or end the service. If we end it entirely, we will try to give you notice.
We work to keep Duelgap running well, but it is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not promise that it will always be available, error-free or that you will reach a particular level of English.
As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of data or progress, arising from your use of Duelgap. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or any mandatory consumer rights you have where you live.
We may update these terms. If we make a meaningful change, we will update the date above and tell you in the app or by email. Continuing to use Duelgap after a change means you accept it.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. If you are a consumer, you also keep the mandatory protections of the country where you live and may bring a claim in the courts there.
